Good hearing and a classic returns

Ok so I know I said I was going to post some more words last night, but boy was it a long day.
As I said we started out our day early. For some reason guy #3 thinks that when he sees light it's time to rise and shine or in his case be LOUD! Guy#3 and I have breakfast and wait for guy # 2 to wake and have his breakfast.

Once guy#2 wakes he decides he doesn't want breakfast. Being that he looks like we starve him I told him since I needed a caffeine fix I would get him something to eat at Burger King. All he wanted was hash browns so a nice order from the $1 menu was great. First we had to travel to our church to get a paper signed to say we were members of the church. Wow the roses there were so beautiful so I decided to stop and smell the roses or better yet take some pictures. I tried to get my little guys to stand together, but boy what was I thinking. One would smile the other would walk away. Finally I gave up and decided to visit a daycare I was looking into for guy # 3.

My two guys were in heaven there. They were playing with the puzzles and things as if they were already going there. Made me realize how much they loved being with other kids at daycare. Seriously thinking this will be where we will put guy# 3 because I liked the place. Knowing that the classes are small made it even better.

Now we are off to visit our former babysitter. We love Mrs. Stacy, but she moved and couldn't babysit for us anymore. AGHHHHH that's when my day became chaos. My two children are fine when they have room to play or if they have toys to play with, but you put them in an apartment with breakable things, they go stir crazy. Between having to stop guy #3 from terrorizing the cats and guy # 2 from running and screaming like a banshee I was calling for a shot of tequila and it was only 11:00 AM. I realized it was time to leave and get my gremlins fed. I knew it was lunch time in Lafayette, but dang you would think people would take their lunch to go. Nope not at Raising Canes, not yesterday.

I am not a fan of Raising Canes, but I knew if I wanted my guys to eat I had better go where they asked to eat. We order Canes and decide to eat in the car. What am I nuts trying to feed a 4 and 1 year old from the front seat of my Explorer? I decided this is truly impossible so I am on a hunt to find a shady picnic spot. WE found one not far from our doctor's appointment at 1:30 which by the way it was 12:30 by the time we get our food. I still have to put 2 guys in the truck and drive through Lafayette traffic by Women's and Children's. HA HA HA HA!

We did have a great little shady picnic area at Comeaux park. Of course the guys wanted to play instead of eat, but I managed to get them to put at least 1 and 1/2 chicken strips and about 10 fries into their bellies. Note to self: never bring little guys to park for lunch.
We headed to guy# 3's hearing test which again confined areas and two sleepy guys DON'T mix. Guy # 3 passed his hearing test, fell asleep, and went through the whole exam with flying colors. Guy# 2 at this time is so cranky, I was glad to put him in the truck to take him back home.

Oh I almost forgot to talk about the classic returns. I had no idea what to fix for dinner for my little guys. But, after looking in the freezer and fridge I realized I could make the fastest easiest dinner. Pigs in a Blanket! My little guys LOVED them. Guy #2 loved it because he got to help momma make dinner. SO last night for dinner we had Pigs in a Blanket and pretzels. What a great stadium dinner. Classics are always a good idea for dinner.

Needless to say my day was long. It saddens me that Guy #1 never gets to experience my rewards of being a parent. It saddens him too. But little does he know next week when he is on vacation I plan to use his time wisely. That is after we clean sweep the house.
